Samsung has grown from strength to strength in the domestic appliance industry offering quality products at competitive prices. The wide range of LCD televisions and displays form the company’s flagship with its technology setting the standards in this field.

The 26-inch screen offers pristine picture quality with a wide viewing angle of over 170 degrees making it ideal for the study or large living rooms. Its high dynamic contrast ratio provides both black colours and vibrant colours with amazing depth. One of the most important features is the DNIe+ image processor which optimises colour and motion providing seamless visuals. The screen has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 rivalling most widescreens available in the market. It supports full high-definition inputs with an inbuilt HDMI port and tuner.

The model tips the scales on the heavier side and can hence be cumbersome to handle. Moreover, the inability to be wall mounted makes it score low among the artistically inclined. The audio system lacks punch with two 5 W speakers which do not do justice to the screen. However, the audio quality is enhanced by SRS Trusurround and DolbyDigital Plus. The SRS technology provides necessary audio support for high-definition inputs.

Lack of support for S-video, headphone output jack, USB etc seem to give the model an incomplete feeling. Focus on screen quality seems to have made Samsung loose focus on the minor facts which have let down this model.
