The Canon EOS 1000D digital camera is small sized camera that you can carry with you anywhere. Light and easy to hold, the Canon EOS 1000D digital camera comes with a tall grip that is very comfortable to hold and use. The start up and auto focus is fast. So, you can click away photographs without wasting time in adjusting.

The shooting performance and the image quality are great with the brand exclusively known for picture perfect. Features like dust reduction and automatic sensor cleaning are definitely a plus in this camera. For a novice player, the Live and Quick mode will make photographing very easy. Coming to the drawbacks, the manual controls could have been better. Addition of manual controls would have enhanced the camera performance. Sometimes the images are over exposed or not very sharp due to the absence of manual controls.

Even though the Canon EOS 1000D digital camera has an excellent battery life, usage of the Live View mode considerably reduces the life of the battery. Another weakness of this otherwise great camera is the placement of the buttons on the left side, which makes it a little difficult to access the buttons. On the whole, it is a good quality camera that is definitely worth the cost.
