Strengths: Good 3G features, high memory capacity, wi-fi, GPS, and music play back

Weaknesses: Feel of the phone is very bad, cannot view documents when on the move

Sony Ericsson has excellent the pure rectangle phone design and this time they go a step ahead with the G705 which is a slider phone as well. The right angle rectangle (best description that I could give) is suitably equipped with a large screen and easy to use keypad which is further strengthened by the fact that there are some really cool features under the hood of the G705.

The G705 boasts of high quality internet connectivity and Wi-Fi which can change your mobile experience to a major extent. The GPS also supports locational based services which can help you from getting lost wherever you go! There is no compromise in other areas either as the phone as a good 3.2 megapixel camera and as a surprise offers a built in 1 GB memory card for users keen to keep going when on the move.

With so many power-packed features (and entertainment features as well such as good FM player) one would expect the Sony Ericsson to be made of titanium. Alas, the exterior body of the phone is very plastic and that brings down the style element of the phone a few notches. The G705 has all the bells and whistles of a smart phone but with no document viewer, it tends to become a little limited in the productivity front. However, The G705 is a good phone and highly recommended as well.
