Full Review
Sony is, by far, one of the best when it comes to technological achievements, and cameras are no exception. They have incredible features that many other brands and models don’t have, features that cause them to stand out and be noticed without even really trying.
The Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T30 is yet another wondrous device by Sony. The CCD Image Sensor; an optical zoom of 3x, a video zoom of 6x, and an 7.2 mega-pixel resolution CCD; and autofocus with a 35mm zoom lens (38-114mm) ensure that bright, rich colours come through in every single image. The Cyber Shot’s Lithium-Ion battery NP-BG1 is among the best batteries available to power modern technology. More impressive is the memory capacity around 30MB, which is incredibly fast for a digital camera.
As the main showcase function, which is rarely seen on many digital cameras, is the slide show presentation, featuring photographic effects such as pans, fades, and zooms, as well as pre-programmed background music available via Playback1. This provides spectators with a personal cinematic show just for them, one which they created. Furthermore, the amazingly large 3.0-inch LCD panel screen, which uses an astounding stock of 230,400 pixels, illuminates and breaths life into every image with realism in appearance and motion—a process that occurs within a matter of seconds!
This model is call “Cyber Shot” because it unit operates like a minicomputer. The photo album, slide show, and soundtrack reflect PC compatibility; through the USB 2.0 interface, the camera can access either Windows or Apple OS to interact with larger hard drives and facilitate the transfer of files. The USB 2.0 is standard, of course, but it is still makes the digital camera a valuable piece of technology. The only things this camera can’t do computer-wise are allow access to email or perform word processing—but give it time!
The price range of $571.00 to $800.00 for the Sony DSC-T30 provides flexibility for haggling and working with the budget. Better models devised through more intricate and sophisticated technology will naturally be more expensive, as they should be. But, hey, it’s worth it with these features! Despite the possible bleeding that can occur if/when the LCD screen is damaged, this digital camera is designed to last a long time, if not a lifetime, with ongoing excellent performance!
All kinds of photography enthusiasts would agree that this model is great to have to develop technical skills and particular styles.
