Sony is, by far, one of the best when it comes to technological achievements, and cameras are no exception. They have incredible features that many other brands and models don’t have, features that cause them to stand out and be noticed without even really trying.
The Sony Cyber Shot DSC-N1 has several distinct features that make the camera meet up to its name. Aside from its standard but nonetheless impressive CCD Image Sensor, and autofocus with a 35mm zoom lens (38-114mm), the Cyber Shot includes a Lithium-Ion battery NP-BG1 (Lithium-Ion batteries are the best), a memory capacity of an astounding 26MB that allow the storage of 500 VGA-size images in an easily accessible album, an optical zoom of 3x, a video zoom of 6x, and an 8.1 mega-pixel resolution CCD, which captures every detail in minute description and boldness. These features allow this camera’s capabilities to exceed many by far and without [much] effort!
The most impressive and attention-getting capability the Sony Cyber hot DSC-N1 has is the slide show presentation. Spectators can watch as their photo albums are viewed ongoing with the use of pans, fades, and zooms, not to mention a soundtrack, which the camera provides for audio support. This is an awesome function, considering the fact that this model possesses a 3.0-inch LCD panel screen that can be operated touch-screen action. Stylus is included with this. The 230,000-pixel resolution produces each image with a distinct, realistic, bold, and rich assortment of colours. Regardless of what the actual colours are in the real world, this camera will accurately reproduce them all with no problem.
This model is call “Cyber Shot” because it unit operates like a minicomputer. The photo album, slide show, and soundtrack are indicative to a built in minidrive that is compatible to a regular-sized hard drive, which it can access through a built-in USB 2.0 interface. Standard as the latter may be, it is still puts this model heads-and-tails above the rest. Files can easily and quickly be transferred back and forth between computer and camera by the push of a button. The only things this camera can’t do computer-wise are allow access to email or perform word processing.
The $502.00-to-$830.00 price range actually seems kind of cheap for technology like this, so it is a real bargain. Despite the possible bleeding that can occur if/when the LCD screen is damaged, this digital camera is designed to last a long time, if not a lifetime. For reason such as this, comparing prices before buying is prudent—you want the best deal for a camera that you will keep and use for the rest of your life.
This model is spectacular and is a must-have if one is a photography enthusiast. Although this may not necessarily be a professional-status camera, it will certainly assist a photographer to get to that level in no time. It’s exciting and mesmerizing, to say the least.
