Strengths: Good form factor for maximum portability and average processor

Packed with completely a small form factor with ultra portability, the Lenovo 3000 G530 Laptop is the right choice if you are an on-the-go pro. However, always have an additional battery or back up to stay connected for long hours. On an average its moderately sized 6-cell battery gives modest performance of three to four hours. Considering the fact that it is equipped with the Intel Pentium T6400 dual-core processor, the G530 Laptop can handle latest games, media application along with standard applications

Resembling a black MacBook, the Lenovo 3000 G530 poses a simple yet stylish look. Its sturdy construction is excellent for its pay. Stated above the average, its 15.4-inch LCD screen comes on an older panel model of 16:10 aspect ratio, a rarity among the newer versions. Very similar to the ThinkPad T60, the keyboard is easy to type with no hint of flex, but differs only in its layout. Despite its good touchpad feature, response from the buttons is minimal. Limited port selection proves that some things have to be sacrificed if you need to cut on cost.

A better processor with enhanced low-power modes might give increased battery time making it more appealing to more than just small business pros or just students.
