Good design and clarity but has got its own set of niggles

If you are looking for a wider screen for your office or home, consider the BenQ E2200HD Widescreen LCD Monitor with outstanding colour quality to reproduce life-like images. Just more than perfect visual performance, its design complements your contemporary lifestyle. Besides combining a wide screen width, the BenQ E2200HD LCD Monitor is the pioneer to come with 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with native resolution and good contrast ratio to deliver rich and natural colours. Though the BenQ E2200HD passed the Geometry and Distortion and the Screen Pixel Resolution tests, at times the colours are too bright and hurt the eye. Two 2W speakers are embedded at the bottom of the panel, but you can’t expect too much thumping surround sound from them.

The BenQ E2200HD Monitor never falls back in the quality when it comes to connecting video inputs like the PS3, Blu-ray DVD, HD camcorder and MOD. At the back of the monitor are the VGA, DVI-D and an HDMI port for video and a stereo jack for audio. It has a wide viewing angle, which adds to its feature list. However, it does a little favour if you are viewing it from the sides. Another niggle you will have to put up with its control buttons, which are placed on the side. It’s quite disheartening when you have to turn the monitor every time you want to adjust the monitor’s settings. Overall, the BenQ E2200HD gives above average image quality and is a pleasure when it comes to watching movies.
