The Motorola RAZR2 V9 Mobile Phone hit the market as a sequel to V3. It has in fact incorporated all the goodies of the latter and Motorola has definitely worked to eliminate the drawbacks of V3. The phone has an appreciable battery life and offers you a good performance. It’s extremely stylish and comes in an eye-catchy in design. The V9’s large external screen makes it stand out of other flip phones in the market. Both its external screen and internal display can support more than supports 200,000 colours. As a result, all the images, including the ones you shot using the camera’s 2.0 megapixel camera, look stunning. The only problem with the screen is that you will find difficult to read text messages under bright sunlight, because of its glossy screen. With its High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) support, the V9 is one of the fastest GSM phones that let you download application at a speed of up to up to 1.8Mbps.

As far as the sound quality is concerned, the phone performs fairly well. The in-built music player lets you listen to your favourite track stored on the phone’s memory. You can also set the MP3 music files as ringtones. The 1,000-entry phone book is also quite impressive. It lets you store up to 6 numbers and 2 email addresses for each contact. On the downside, the complicated navigation menu makes the phone not so user friendly.
