The Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS comes packed with all the latest features. The 4.3” widescreen is bright and clear. Text as well as the preloaded City Navigator street maps look crisp on the touchscreen display. It also has a database with millions of points of interest, including useful locations like hotels, ATMs, theatres, hospitals and more. The Nuvi 760 provides accurate text-to-speech directions and auto re-routes within seconds.

Unlike many other models, the Garmin Nuvi 760 has a power cable with an integrated FM receiver to provide live traffic updates. It also features the usual travel tools like a currency converter, audio book player, picture viewer and MP3 player. More importantly, it is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled headsets for hands-free calling. You can even dial the number of a POI through the GPS with one touch.

Despite all its advanced features, this user-friendly GPS is easy to operate and slim in design. The menus are intuitive, even for beginners. However, the Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS would have greatly benefitted from a louder, more powerful speaker and longer battery life. The price, although reasonable for the amount it offers, is likely to be too high for many shoppers, which is a shame since the Nuvi 760 is as good as it gets.
