Considering the modest price range, Canon PowerShot A480’s picture capturing capacity can give its contenders a ride for its money. This compact camera produces sharp, vibrant images.

It features a user-friendly design and a compact size that lets you carry it anywhere you go. The Canon A480’s simple menu system is quite impressive. The most striking feature of this camera is that the subject details can be shot more comprehensively using the 1 cm macro mode technology. The camera comes with the DIGIC III image processor for excellent image quality. If you are a beginner, you will find the fifteen different in-built shooting modes extremely useful. It will help you take stunning images in any condition.

They are available in fun colours like red, silver, blue, and black, but the plastic body gives it a toy-camera look. Its two alkaline batteries have a shorter life, which is quite disappointing. Another major drawback is the absence of optical image stabilization.
There is still room for improvement in this entry-level camera. However, the Canon Powershot A480 is an excellent buy for beginners who have a tight budget.
