If you’re looking for a camera which is stylish, simple to use, comes with virtually all of the latest goodies in the digital world today but also fits your budget, the Canon Powershot A480 is a likely contender. Though it does not boast of any major WOW features, it does have enough to get you going in the right direction. Easy to use and handle, the Powershot is your standard point and shoot variety and does not give any special add-ons.

The camera is a great pick for anyone who craves simplicity of features packed in a somewhat stylish box. Perfect for beginners, this camera is the kind that you can start using soon after you unpack it. Available in a number of colors like blue, black, red and silver, the one thing that it does not look is ordinary. Some traditional Canon features include Blur control and motion detection technology and you can also enjoy the red-eye correction of the camera.

What is missing is the view finder and I will not give great marks to the low light performance as that is not really good. Other issues with the camera include no manual intervention but then at this price tag, it is not right to expect it as well. Though everyone might not consider the Canon Powershot to be a very high end cam, it does the work it is suppose to and does it fairly well.
