Fabulous camera, I am a novice with cameras, and I have found the camera very easy to use,the instructions are very easy to understand which to me is a bonus,takes beautiful clear pictures,up close and at a distance.I have only had this camera for two days ,so I havent done a lot with it and am still learning how to use it. This camera has a lot of advanced technology in a compact package.It even comes with four decent batteries.The only thing I found that the battery compartment is a little hard to open and close, I was worried I would brake it, but now I have got the hang of it.I take photos of birds and this camera is just perfect,as I can take photos from a distance,and they are so beautiful and clear.This camera is reasonably priced,and is good value, but if anyone is thinking of buying one,you need to shop around as I payed $800 ,but I would recommend this camera to anyone,even beginners, well done Olympus.

I have the same trouble with the battery department, afraid of breaking it. Have found initially many shots overexposed on the Auto setting, haven't yet found the reason why. Found the shots taken in Australia way better than the light in New Zealand on Auto and I'm aware of the different light. Perhaps I need to change the ISO setting? Zoom is brilliant, am astounded at what this camera will do. Have noticed with a lot of recent use on holiday I'm losing the top of heads in people shots. Not sure if it's using eyepiece or screen?
