Strengths: Easy to use, NavPix included and has a high level of reliability

Weaknesses: Expensive, very bulky and might be slightly difficult to mount it in the car

It is the fairly large screen of the navigation system which gets users interested in the Navman ICN 720. Though the unit is not as interesting to look at as other competitive units (and some people might even find it slightly bulky looking) it is the performance which really manages to impress and at the end of the day, that is what matters. The ICN 720 also features the legendary NavPix option which allows you to create your own database of pictures of locations visited by you.

Once you get over the bulky size of the navigation unit, the ICN 720 looks geared to give you high level accuracy in navigation since it has very updated information which ensures that you don’t get lost. However, you might need to check out other units if you are looking for a cheaper navigational device as the ICN 720 is quite expensive.

The overall navigation remains comfortable to use as the buttons are quite large and well placed and the ICN 720 manages to offer all kinds of user-friendly options to choose from within the navigation software. The screen is easy to view and does not wash out in bright sunlight and personally I would consider Navman to be an important companion when traveling but wish that the company would work towards sorting out the slightly troublesome car mount.
