Strengths: 35x zoom (100x in digital option), excellent, user-friendly features, sleek looking and reasonably priced

Weaknesses: Needs some getting used to

The Canon MD 120 delivers a unique feature which few other cameras can deliver….a power packed 35x zoom which is gives tremendous power to the photographer to capture images. Other than that, the Canon MD 120 is very easy to use. Though the camera has some really complicated features, it manages to deliver them in a really sleek camera which is priced at a very affordable level.

There are many thoughtful features built in the camera which includes a variable speed zoom, good quality image capture even at the highest zoom level, ergonomically friendly design and enough space to capture a lot of video and images. With these features, it is difficult to ignore the Canon MD 120. The downside with some many features is of course, you need to get familiar with them over a period of time and this might take some time.

The battery life is decent…not spectacular…it lasts for close to 2 hours of recording time which might not be great for everyone so you need to carry a spare battery if you planning longer shoots. Other than that, there are many displays and recording modes to choose from, which allows you to be creative when capturing images and video. All in all, the Canon MD120 works out to be a very good purchase which lets users enjoy an experience which cannot be replicated in other cameras.
