Strengths: Reasonably priced iPod which has all the good qualities of the regular iPod

Weaknesses: No built-in FM and is a victim of its own success

The iPod Nano needs no introduction. You are probably reading this review in order to decide if this is product is the right one for you (and probably get some help in deciding the right color!). The iPod Nano is definitely not the full story i.e it does not have all features as one would see in the iPod. However, it does have the core features of a very good MP3 and manages to offer this feature and a considerably lower cost than the iPod.

The iPod Nano also comes in some very attractive colors. They live up to the Apple tradition of having well-designed products and this adds a significant feature in the Nano’s cap. The storage capacity of the Nano is also very good and is likely to meet the requirements of most users. One of the advantages of the Nano is that it is a lot more rugged than other iPod players and the scratch resistant body lets the player look good even when it is roughly handled.

If you have already used an iPod, you might miss the built-in FM tuner and the fact that the screen size of the Nano is really small. Other than that, the Nano is also a very common MP3 player so if you are looking to make a fashion statement, you will need to shell out a few more dollars and pick up the iPod Video. However, needless to say, the iPod Nano is already a featured product in most pockets and is popular thanks to its excellent quality and overall product design.
