Full Review
With a 5-A water usage rating, tons of settings, and a huge washer volume, there is little to say about the Electrolux EWF1495 Front Load Washer except that it is fabulous. Start with the sleek design (available in white only) and the front load drum wash. You can fit an enormous load inside, with a rating of 8 kg (over 17.5 pounds) capacity, making this unit great for a family. Get all the clothes done in half the time, and keep the kids happy with their closets full. The quiet inverter motor runs at only 43dB, making the Electrolux front load washer extremely quiet so that it won’t interfere with television, radio, or even disrupt silence needed for studying or otherwise. The Jetsystem™ allows for a gentler wash, keeping your delicates, well, delicate. The LED readout makes it simple to see the chosen program and follow the progression of the washing cycle so that you always know where you’re at. There are eleven different program options, including silk, cotton, and two separate “favorites”. Washing options include pre-wash, extra rinse, quick wash, and delay start. The 60-minute quick wash cycle is excellent for getting things in and out. A 1400 rpm spin speed means that clothes are not soaking wet upon removal and can easily be line dried quickly. Probably one of the best features of the EWF1495 washer is that it has an optional floor drawer that can raise the machine further off the ground so that you don’t have to bend as far to put items in or take them out. An energy usage rating of 4.5 (low on the scale) complete the package. For the quality and the price, it would be difficult to beat the deal you get on the Electrolux EWF1495 Front Load Washer.

Hi, I would like to know if this machine has a lint filter, manual or automatic. Is it the door down at ground level on the right handside front? Does not look very user friendly?? Cheers Trikecars. Posted by: 26-Jan-2008

It has an automatic Lint Disposal Retreival and Disposal system. It is quite amazing, it will either dispose of the lint through a inovative molecular breakdown system and return the fibers to the earth witht he gray water, or it can store the lint for later use in knitting projects. I made the cutest sweater out of 2 weeks worth of lint cycles. So it is very eco-friendly. My kids now only wear clothes made from lint. I save hundreds eahch year on clothes by this fabulous lint system! Cheers, Mark Posted by: 2-Jan
