Compact size with good functionality! The A570 is worth buying

Strengths: Budget camera with manual controls and good quality output

Weaknesses: Images loose to noise at higher ISOs

The Canon PowerShot A570 is completely different from the Samsung S630 and the only common ground they share is that both the cameras offer excellent pricing. The PowerShot is definitely priced very reasonably but it does use that as an excuse to produce average images. In fact at 7.1 megapixel manages to a very good job and the sleek camera is going to ensure that you have high quality photos as long lasting memories.

The PowerShot A570 does offer some freebies when it comes to features and this includes image stabilization software along with a limited range of manual controls which is very unusual for a camera of this caliber. The PowerShot A570 does however, give up image quality on higher ISOs so if you do decide to go ahead and buy this camera then stay away from that point since the image quality goes for a complete toss at that level.

The digital viewfinder in the Canon PowerShot A570 also manages to impress me as I usually find that in higher priced models. Overall, there is not much to complain about in the A570 and I would recommend it highly to anyone who is looking for a 'real' budget solution which comes with a fairly good feature set and good images which manage to make your holiday worthwhile!
