Strengths: Very good sound quality, reasonably priced and good looking as well

My first concern when I see these computer speakers are mostly concerning their placement on my already crowded desk. The Logitech 970118-0403 Z 2300 is one set of speakers which are definitely not small. The main speaker of the set is a large square and though it looks good aesthetically (and sounds equally good as I discover in a few minutes) the size does work to its disadvantage. However, the reason for buying this set even with its bulky appearance is simple…it has very good output and that is what really matters.

The speakers are very easy to install and I am able to connect and get started within a few minutes. Though I do notice some distortion in very high volumes, it doesn’t really bother me too much since I am sure I was unlikely to use it at the volume. Other than that, the cost of the speaker set makes it very affordable piece of equipment to possess. Do keep the speaker switched off when not in use otherwise you are likely to experience a hissing sound which is not so pleasant.

The old maxim that a good quality product is likely to go a long way is very true in this case. Logitech continues to be a good buy in all spheres’ of the product and the sound quality is one of the best in the price range. Overall the Logitech set of speakers are one of the best around and works extremely well even in large spaces. However, these speakers cannot be linked up with a music player to achieve very high quality results-best suited as computer speakers only!
