Have you noticed how newly launched perfumes tend to overshadow all perfumes in the store especially when the company is doing a marketing blitz? Well, that is pretty much the case with Ed Hardy as well. A very recently launched men’s fragrance, Ed Hardy is splashed all over the stores but the one place I would not like the perfume to be splashed on is me! If you are wondering about my strong reaction, all you need to do is test this perfume!
If Christian Audigier imagined that the men’s fragrances are dominated by alcoholic tones then he could not be further away from the truth. Ed Hardy is a caricature of a thick man with lots of brawl in him. This is not a fragrance which I would like to be associated with even if I WAS that sort of a person. The fragrance is tough on the senses and leaves you feeling quite nauseated if smell it for more than five minutes at one time.
That you should not buy Ed Hardy is more than apparent from my comments. This fragrance leaves you will a bad smell and one that does not go away quite easily. So the next time you go to the store and have a pushy salesman convincing you about Ed Hardy, you will know exactly what to say. Also do not make the mistake of buying this perfume as a gift...it would definitely not give you any brownie points with any of the wearers!

I was recently at a christmas party and the girl sitting next to me was wearing a beautiful fragrance. I liked it so much I had to ask her what it was. She told me it was Ed Hardy and she took the bottle out of her bag and it was the pink womens fragrance. She gave me a spray and I thought it was divine. Do not let the mans previous comments stop you from trying the Ed Hardy fragrances. I cannot speak for the mens as I have not tried it but the womens is lovely. I buy alot of fragrances and know a good one when I smell it! Posted by: 27-Dec-2008

well I was also impressed with the kitschy bottle but frankly think the perfume is really a bit too much. It takes away all the romance of fragrances and leaves you with a combination of 'apple soufflé, mango, wild strawberry, ruddy red grapefruit, freesia petals, watery muguet, linden blossom, warm amber, musk, tonka bean and vanilla pudding' making it more like food rather than perfume. If you are looking for something really worth making a signature fragrance, you should opt for one of the five star rated perfumes as www.myshopping.com.au/PT--52_Fragrance_Perfume Posted by: 18-Feb
