Muse is a light feminine fragrance

Strengths: Soft fragrance with a good bottle design. Reasonably priced as well

Weaknesses: Not very unique

As the name suggests, Muse has an ethereal touch to its name and it has been further transferred to the look and feel of the semi-transparent bottle as well. Muse comes equipped with an excellent, soft bottle which also allows you to see the perfume levels which remain in the bottle (though this might not make the bottle look very attractive when the perfume is nearing a finish). Muse from Joop! is designed to be a day perfume and has the right sense of mystique interspersed in it.

The notes are mostly floral and do not have any fruit tang to them. The white musk helps add that little bit of allure in the perfume which is what makes it all the more interesting. The one problem that I foresee with Muse is that it is not a unique fragrance in the truest sense of the word as there are many perfumes which have a very similar composition.

Even with the possibility that the perfume is not really spectacular, Muse is likely to get some good following due to the Joop! brand and the fact that its reasonable price makes it a good gift. With no cheap smelling tones in the perfume, Muse is the perfect gift to give this Christmas to your secretary as it is a nice perfume and does not seem too personal either. The tough part will be distinguishing the perfume from so many others in a crowded office party!
