Strengths: Excellent packaging and age-old brand name

Weaknesses: Does not even come close to the original

The new Chloe is a comeback vehicle for Chloe which was really riding a way of popularity way back in the 80s and 90s. The Chloe New promises to carry forward the same deep sense of style and feminine beauty as the older fragrances and comes in packaging which has been modernized to quite a large extent. Chloe New might be packed with fragrant promise and the lovely bottle and is one of the few perfume launches in 2008 but does it manage to live up to your expectations?

The answer to that one is NO. If you check out the Chloe New with hopes of it being floral, you are in for a rude shock. The perfume is not floral at all and what you get is a strong blend of cucumber and water! Though this combination might sound attractive as a herbal concoction for a face wash, it does nothing as a perfume and is unlikely to appeal to anyone who has know the original Chloe.

Needless to say, we are very disappointed with this fragrance as it does not come close to anyone’s expectations. The perfume makers seem to have spent sufficient time in developing the packaging but almost none in getting users to provide feedback on the smell. It is strongly recommended that you stay away from this perfume as it does not do justice to the brand name, the bottle or the hopes you had from an erstwhile perfume.
