The Officejet 4355 looks like a sophisticated fax machine but in fact is a printer equipped with multi-functional features. The all-white look is a bit daunting to maintain but the overall features (and the really attractive price tag) lends the printer a sublime attraction. It might be OK to believe that a basic all-in-one unit does not need so many buttons as the HP Officejet 4355 and is likely to confuse the home user and I tend to agree at that point.

On the printing quality front the Officejet 4355 is good though not very fast. The scanning and copying features can be rates a safe seven on ten. Unlike the Brother MFC 260C which I recently reviewed, the Officejet 4355 does not offer PC-less printing which makes it a bit unattractive but one can only expect so much for the price one is paying. Having said that it is important to note that the Officejet 4355 is quite a reasonably priced printer.

The problem lies outside the printer as HP has introduced a wide range of printers in the same category making it difficult to make a choice. For a few dollars more, you can get a better printer than the Officejet 4355 and that is what makes it difficult to choose this particular model. However, if you are on the lookout for a really simple all-in-one printer you are likely to be thrilled with this model. The 4355 does need a bit of space to spread its feet so do keep that in mind when buying the printer.
