Strengths: Good phone design, respectable talk time and decent entertainment features

Weaknesses: Missing Bluetooth and Radio

Once in a while you come across a phone which might have all the desired features you want but might not have some really basic features that are commonplace in entry-level models as well. The Samsung E700 is one such phone. Backed by good design, excellent sound quality and fairly good battery life, the Samsung E700 manages to give users a complete package when it comes to a good mid-range mobile phone. Almost.

Like I mentioned earlier, I find it really strange to see such a good phone without Bluetooth and FM radio. The missing FM radio is really surprising as I see no obvious reason why the E700 is without it in the first place. Anyways, once you get over this missing feature, you enjoy the fact that the phone has fairly good talk time and even better standby time than its competitors. Though not much of a looker... the E700 is slim enough to make it stand out from the entry level phones.

I did feel that the phone was a tad overpriced considering all the features and for a few dollars more; I could get myself a smarter phone. If you are looking for productivity features in your phone including good internet connectivity then the E700 is definitely worth a try.
