Image quality makes it a good buy

Superb image quality is what keeps my eyes glued to the Canon EOS 1000D as I flick through the test shots which are being demonstrated to a very avid group of tourists. Sure, Canon tends to launch some really attractive cameras with features which are practically on everyone’s wish list but with the EOS 1000D, it really seems have reached a pinnacle when it comes to image quality and output.

The rest of the camera however, leaves lot to be desired as it does not have some manual controls which could have made the camera so much better in performance. Lacking manual control ends up with images with over-exposure, and sometimes reduces the sharpness of the images. Other than these issues which happen mostly in outdoor shots, the EOS 1000D produces near perfect images which look so good in the family album.

The price range of the Canon EOS 1000D is quite OK and not very expensive either. You might be able to get a smaller camera for this price but the image quality is unlikely to have the same finesse as the EOS 1000D. So, if a good automatic digital camera with very good quality zoom is what you are looking for and cannot be caught dead carrying one of those point-and-shoot varieties, then the EOS 1000D is a good bet as any.
