The Sony Bravia has long been considered as the top-level LCD television and once you see the performance for yourself, you realize that there is a lot of truth in that theory. The 52 inch KDL52XBR gives users some great entertainment moments. The exterior is as usual neatly designed and has the versatility to merge with all styles of interiors...in fact, the Sony KDL52XBR looks almost like a modern painting itself!

Though I might be getting very effusive about the KDL52XBR, it does not compete with the other smaller LCD televisions from Sony. Size does take away some of the Sony Bravia’s advantages and though it is not a very big deal, the difference is quite perceptible and can be figured out by anyone who has used a Sony Bravia 30 inch or 42 inch LCD television. The XBR series is very easy to navigate and the remote control continues to follow the well tried out Sony format so no learning curve there.

On the performance front, the LCD television is impressive but you need to be prepared for the sticker shock which comes the moment you lay your eyes on the Bravia. The price is definitely high and you need to be really enamoured by this television to be able to dish out such a high price. There are a number of cheaper options from the likes of Samsung and LG but somehow, once you see the Bravia, you feel something amiss in all other models and Sony knows this just too well!
