Very basic printer with additional features not worth much

A very basic printer, the HP DeskJet F2235 manages to get work done for people who is looking for a good use-and-throw printer which does not cost an arm and a leg. Very reasonably priced and definitely worth every penny you spend on it. The F2235 does nothing else apart from printing regular black and white and comes with a foot print which is quite large so be prepared to keep a printer on a separate table all together.

On the speed front, the 14 pages per minute makes it respectable and though there is a scanner and copier attached to the printer, they are not worth much. The resolution stands at a basic 1200 DPI so don’t expect the printer to justice to graphic images as that just does not do justice at all. The F2235 is not meant for sharing on a network and cannot handle bulk printing either. Expecting too much from the printer would be a mistake but then it is not a bad buy if the objective is simple printing.

The F2235 price tag is what makes it very attractive and though it does shake a bit when in use and that can be a big problem if you place it on your desk! So if you are looking for a good printer which can last you a couple of years then you will be better off checking out the higher range of multi-functional printers from HP. I bought the HP F2235 for my son’s college project and he still ends up using mine for all the graphical work!
