Full Review
The LG 42LG30 might not be the best high definition television around even though it does manage to read the 1080p format. The overall look and feel of the television is simple and elegant making it look like its expensive competitor, the Sony Bravia and you can also compare their performance a bit as the LG 42LG30 is not a bad television at all. Some people might opt for it purely based on the price advantage and the colour quality continues to be decent if not impressive.

Some of the simple features like a USB point is missing from the television and though it is not an essential requirement, some users might miss it. You might also miss the PIP feature which is quite addictive and is not present in this LG television. Other than that, the 1080p format continues to be its core selling point and there are many options in the picture setting which you can use. With these features in place, the 42LG30 does pretty well with users who are shopping on a budget.

Should you be looking for a television which is much better than some of the flat screens being sold by the likes of Samsung and other lesser known brands then the LG 42 inch is highly recommended for the simple for all the reasons mentioned earlier. So, what are you waiting for, get the telly and enjoy some good action on a really large television!

Hi, I noticed that Sony pretty much captures the market in the flat screen business but televisions from LG (like the one mentioned above) and even Samsung (featured at www.myshopping.com.au/PR--155924_Samsung_PS42Q91HDX_42_106cm_HD_Plasma_TV ) manage to do justice to quality and size and are highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a good living room television which comes with a price tag which does not send you reeling with sticker shock! So move over Sony, Samsung and LG are here to give you some tough competition!
