What’s new with the HP Compaq nx6325?

Strengths: Dual processor and good keypad features. Ability to take a few knocks. Battery life is also good

Weaknesses: Resolution of the laptop does not look all that great. Average looking laptop

Though I am not very fond of HP laptops and find technical support lacking to a large extent, the nx6325 managed to convince me about its capabilities especially with the dual-processors from AMD. The nx6325 does not look any different from other HP laptops and it takes a bit of tinkering around to get to understand what is unique in this laptop. For starters, the laptop can be hooked up to peripherals in many ways thanks to the multitude of USB ports and other connectivity points.

The keyboard experience of the laptop is also respectable and though the resolutions appears to be a bit of a let-down, it doesn’t bother too much once you get used to it. The laptop is by no means a cheap one even though it does have an 80GB hard disk which is becoming common place now-a-days. Though initial tests demonstrate an excellent battery life for the nx6325, many users have found that the performance of the battery reduces quickly over a period of time and might need replacement within one year.

The final verdict for the laptop is simple…it might not be the fastest one in its range…but is a decently good performer and can be recommended for purchase as it does have a good user friendly approach with its overall features. The HP nx6325 manages to hold its own in the arena of other laptop heavyweights and this is in the laptop’s favor. Overall, the HP nx6325 is definitely good value for money.
