Strengths: A classic fragrance with some amazing floral and leather tones

If you are an informed perfume buyer, you might have already heard for Chanel No.19….if you are like me…you are most likely to loose this amazingly fresh perfume in the shadows of Chanel No. 5 which overpowers all other fragrances from the house of Chanel. No. 19 has a bit of Chanel in it as it is significantly named after the birthday of Coco Chanel (19th August). This factoid helps is creating a mystic around the perfume and gives a personal connection with the designer.

Chanel No.19 is a very sophisticated fragrance and has been around for more than three decades now. The packaging, like Chanel No. 5 is simple and elegant. The perfume manages to merge both floral and leathery tones which give it a sharp edge as a perfume and a firm distinction which does not take long to identify. Though the perfume has gone through minor changes over the years, it continues to be a well known fragrance to date.

The romantic quotient of the perfume is quite high and Chanel No. 19 is a signature perfume for many a women. The versatility of the perfume is further pronounced by the fact that you can wear this perfume both during the day as well as the evening. The unique tones of the perfume do not appeal to everyone at the first instance (as is the case with floral perfumes) and the liking tends to grow over time. Chanel No. 19 continues to be a classical fragrance and comes with a fairly high price tag as well.
