Strengths: The picture quality and price, both, make this television one helluva buy!

Weaknesses: Fixed stand with the television and a slightly hard to use remote

It is the side panels of the television which makes you take a second look at it. The Acer AT3705 presents a different look to this television with a product design which makes the television look a lot bigger than it really is. Once you begin evaluating the television more closely, you will also find yourself getting attracted to the picture quality which is quite good as the colors really stand out and enhance your viewing experience.

As soon as the this neat looking television passes the test of ‘good-picture-quality’ you are likely to check out the pricing to see if it is sky high…here again….there is a good surprise as the Acer AT3705 is really affordable and less than half the price of many other similar sized televisions. With these two things working for it, it comes as no surprise that the 37 inch lifestyle product manages to attract a good deal of user interest and buyers.

The only dampener to the deal is the stand which is fixed to the television and it really makes you wonder what the designers were thinking when they design this piece??!! This is one dis-advantage which might put many television buyers off (but some die-hards ones are likely to work a way around this problem). The fixed stand coupled with the remote control which takes tactile to just another level are the only two issues once is likely to get bothered about.

If you do not have a ‘big-brand’ fixation with Sony or the like, and choose a product based on its performance, there is no reason why you should take this 37 inch beauty home. With the price tag it boasts, you can look forward to experiencing HD quality picture right there in your living room.
