Strengths: Amazing sound and video quality, 1080p resolution ready

Weaknesses: Price is just way out of reach for many of us

Who ever said that the best things in life are free did not check out the Sony KDL46X2000 which is part of its newly launched X series from the house of Sony. This 46 inch flat screen television is good enough to send your heartbeat racing (at least it did mine!). The X series really goes into high end of technology as it provides for in-built features for viewing 1080p content and controls which can just keep you home most of the day.

This is one of the main reasons for its high price as well since this is a fairly new-age technology. The content for 1080p is not yet common place and thus you have to rely on the demonstration of the television itself. Though the television is definitely expensive, it does live up to all its promises. The picture quality is par-excellence and is likely to make you quite addicted (and kind of spoilt as well as you are unlikely to enjoy anything less than this in the near future!).

If you thought this TV is only great on the picture front….there is more for you to discover! The sound quality rocks and you can enjoy a true home theatre experience with the KDL46X2000. the only problem with this TV (and I am coming back to it again!) is its price. It is unlikely that you would be able to find a second hand piece (can’t think of anyone who would want to get rid of this one!) so it is best that you start saving up to splurge on this very nifty piece of equipment.
