Essentially...just a rose but from Bvlgari

Strengths: Very soft and feminine

Weaknesses: Just does not stay for long and is not very unique

A rose by any other name is still a rose. That pretty much sums up my feelings for Rose Essentielle from Bvlgari which is a rose fragrance like so many others from leading fashion houses. Rose Essentielle might not be all about roses ( it has some jasmine and violet undertones) and is not 100% unique but the fact that it is from Bvlgari makes it a good enough perfume to buy and use. There is of course a very soft approach in the perfume which gives an instant high and that is what makes you decide on buying Rose Essentielle.

Alas, the staying power is not there and just like the rose wilts, you can feel the perfume fade into oblivion and that really feels like a big letdown. Knowing the prices of Bvlgari products, you also realize that there is no way you will venture to buy a second bottle of this perfume and that leads to a quick death since repeat purchasers would be highly discouraged. The other problem with the perfume is that it is very common from the point of view that the rose fragrance is one of the most common fragrances and that takes away some of the perfume’s exclusivity as well.

So would I recommend Rose Essentielle? Only to those who have a big fascination for rose fragrances and do not mind the fact that this perfume does not stay long enough. Rose E is meant mostly for mature women and is good for day wear in office but don’t expect it to make a romantic every even more so as it just might not last that long!
