Strengths: Amazing bottle design

Weaknesses: Boring fruity-floral combo, celebrity endorsement not worth much

If there is one thing that the product development team at the Britney Spears perfume division does right it is the bottle design. Believe comes in a powerful bottle which is a 3-dimensional arrow which makes the perfume look quite bold. However, the perfume does not continue the traditional boldness any further and we are left to smell a familiar-smelling perfume (though I can't quite place where I have smelt it) when we open the Believe bottle.

The typical aroma of Believe conjures up an image of young Britney heading on to the stage with confidence without have really seen the world. Believe has some common fruity and floral tones which are also found in her previous launches and that is why Believe does not stand out much. Though Believe might be a better perfume that other Britney fragrances, I would not recommend it to anyone over 16!

With the fall in Britney's popularity, perfumes and other products' sale also takes a nose dive and Believe is heading the same direction. Though a decent perfume for teens, it is quite likely that more or more stores will be pulling Believe off their shelves soon. So if you would like to hang on to a rock-star classic to show your grand-children go and pick up your bottle of Believe, today!
