Strengths: Nothing but FUN, Even more fun with friends, Steering wheel is cool

Weaknesses: Graphics really need an update

I first played the Mario Kart games on the SNES and I was hooked from that point forth. So much fun was being had and it was almost illegal because I was having too much of it. Later on it came for the N64 and with it came more innovations and even more fun. And so without fail this franchise has appeared over the years always refined and even more fun than before, whether it be on the Gamecube or even the Nintendo DS. But now Mario Kart is here for the Wii and it sure does take the franchise to the next level.

First thing you will notice out of the box is the fact that the game comes with a really cool steering wheel which utilises the Wii Remote. So if you want to make a right turn, just turn the steering wheel to the right as done in a car. Second come the weapons which can be used to deter the leader of any race from winning which we all love, and can really come in handy in the last few seconds of the race.

This game really shines with the multiplayer aspect, especially when you play with friends. Mario Kart Wii is a one stop fun shop, which only knows how to churn out quality fun and entertainment, so I recommend you get your hands on this game if you have a party coming up and looking to entertain guests, then go no further.
