Hi Mark...I am surprised that you have given the LG refrigerator a 4 star rating. I have a 300 plus litres one at home and I am quite fed up with it. So much so that the service engineers have started coming in and saying that I should change to another brand! So much for brand faithfulness! Side by side refrigerators tend to be a tough choice to make as they look good but do not have the same level of effectivity as a twin-door. Also, I think there is a lot of loss of space with the side-by-side door ones resulting in a lot less space than what you bargained for. I am currently considering the www.myshopping.com.au/SP--99594_Westinghouse_FR181TLH_Vertical_Freezer along with one of the Westinghouse fridges and can't wait to get rid of my LG. LG LCDs however are much better than their cooling devices so you can relax on that front. :)
