Strengths: Makes you feel ‘rosy’ all over. Well designed bottle

Weaknesses: Too sweet for some people

There are many interesting perfumes which are available today, but somehow, there is something unique and alluring about Ralph Lauren. Though I am not able to put my finger on it, I think it has to do with the image this brand enjoys with both the young as well as the mature generation. Romance is a simple perfume, in simple and unassuming packaging but manages to capture the delicate tones of roses in a very enticing way.

Romance is an apt fragrance for those who want to have a romantic fragrance either for personal use or as a gift for someone they love. The bottle reminds you of the simple packaging which is a trademark of Chanel, and looks like a traditional perfume decanter. The sweet perfume lingers on lightly for some time and is most suited for day wear. Romance might also be used in the evening during summers but is not recommended for frequent use in the evening.

Since Romance is a perfume which mostly comprises of roses, some people might find it a bit too sweet but it is recommended that you allow it to settle down a bit before enjoying the individual tones of each fragrant tone in the perfume. Do not try and inhale the perfume directly from the bottle as that might put you off in the first instant. Apart from this little niggling issue with the fragrance, the perfume is par excellence and comes highly recommended by all and sundry.
