Nothing Youthful about Youth Dew

Strengths: A reasonably priced, classical fragrance

Weaknesses: Very strong and woody perfume which is not liked by all and meant for mature women

One of the myths which surround dark colored fragrances is that they tend to stain the garments when used. Obviously this is not true in the case of products which are developed by quality design houses such as Estee Lauder. Youth Dew is as unusual perfume as not only is it very dark in color, but was launched almost half a century ago! It enjoys the distinction of being a classical aromatic legend which is still available on some of the leading stores and with online retailers.

Youth Dew is definitely a left over from the past and the fragrance may not appeal to the modern day woman. However, the perfume tends to provide a walk down memory lane if used in moderation. The mention of moderation is important here as Youth Dew is a very strong and woody fragrance and does not have any of the mature aromatic tones which are the hallmark of the new-age fragrances. The packaging of Youth Dew is also not anything great even though the simple bow stands out on the front of the bottle.

Last but not the least; Youth Dew is a very reasonably priced bottle even though that is unlikely to be a reason for you to buy this fragrance. There is a mysterious quality to the perfume which appeals to buyers and that is one of the reasons why Youth Dew is still doing the rounds. Go for this perfume if you want to pick up a gift for your grand mother or have a fancy for collecting classical perfumes.
