The Sony DSC-T300 is the hottest of the touch-controlled slim digital cameras. It has dispensed all the controls bar and replaced them with a gargantuan 3.5" touch panel. This touch panel fills the entire rear surface of the camera. You will really appreciate its Smile Shutter technology that captures smiles automatically and the Face Detection technology that helps to optimise exposure, colour and focus for up to eight faces. Moreover, the Intelligent Scene Recognition facilitates you to select your camera’s setting automatically depending on the detected lighting conditions.

If you enjoy taking shots of dramatic portraits and distant landscape views, the 5X optical zoom of the DSC-T300 gives you the power to get even closer to the action. The anti reflective coating of the 3.5”1 widescreen Clear Photo LCD Plus™ LCD display offers excellent visibility even in bright sunlit days. The best part of this camera is that its 15 MB Internal Memory enables you to get the shot even without your flash memory card. There is an in built slot within the camera that accepts optional Memory Stick Duo™ media or Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media that enables to upload photos to your PC conveniently.

However, the Sony DSC-T300 contains certain flaws. It has a lousy battery life and the image quality is not always very great. Shooting in low lights without a flash, may often make your photos blurry or they may even suffer from noise because of high ISO noise suppression. But you can overcome this problem by ensuring that the image stabilizer is on. Otherwise the DSC-T300 has a great design and lots of friendly features that will never go unnoticed.
