Full Review
The 16th DSLR from Nikon, the D60 sits in between the range of the Nikon D40x and D80. You can now capture incredible images with its 10.2 effective mega pixels and other user friendly features. The Integrated Dust Reduction System of Nikon is also incorporated in the D60 and includes original Airflow Control System and Image Sensor Cleaning. I am really impressed with its fast 0.18-second start up time and split-second shutter response. This has indeed helped me to get rid of shooting lag, which is a common problem of many point-and-shoot digital cameras. I have in fact taken some extraordinary detailed pictures with the Nikon D60, thanks to its advanced three-point AF system.

You can obtain fastest frame rates with the help of its manual focus. Rotate the mode dial to S or M and select a shutter speed of 1/250 s. or faster. For all other settings use defaults. You can even create duplicate images within your camera with astounding photo effects with the help of its Stop-motion Movie, Quick Retouch and NEF (RAW) Processing. The D60 also offers amazing image sharpness with Nikon’s new AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens, packaged with the camera.

Like the other D-series digital SLR cameras, the D60 includes Nikon's innovative i-TTL flash control. For a better automatic flash balance, it assesses the flash exposure with incredible precision and delivers excellent image quality. It also includes in built Speedlight that allows to take accurate images even in dark surroundings. When you look through the viewfinder the new Eye Sensor automatically turns off the LCD monitor. It is indeed flawless, however, a reduction in the price tag would really do magic.
