The G700: Stands out due to the scribble feature

Strengths: Nice touch screen, good usability levels of the phone, call qualities are good as well

Weaknesses: Performance is on the slower side, no wi-fi

It is the unique scribble feature which gets me most interested in the Sony Ericsson G700....not just because it has it but mostly due to the high quality performance of this feature. However, this level is not matched by the rest of the camera and even though the phone looks quite good, it makes the sluggish performance quite a dampener. Having said that I still enjoy the overall usability of the phone as it quite simple and does not take more than 10 minutes to make you really comfortable with it.
The G700 rates pretty good on the voice quality and overall battery life but what is does not impress with is the limited music features and lack of Wi-Fi which seems to have become such as integral part of mobile phone these days. The Sony Ericsson G700 is not very expensive but considering the fact that it is just a good phone with average camera features and nothing close to the W series when it comes to music, you might want to shop around before heading this way.
Though i have been going on and on about the limited entertainment features of the phone, it is necessary to note that the Sony Ericsson G700 has buttons which are extremely easy to use and a screen which may not be the largest around but does offer a good view to all your messages. So if you are looking for a reasonable priced touch screen which is a good talking point and offers a balanced set of features for a reasonable price tag, then the G700 might be just the phone for you.
