If you are an amateur photographer, then steer clear of the Panasonic NV MD10000 as this is a MiniDV Camcorder meant for broadcast purposes and is likely to leave a basic photographer quite bewildered. The MD10000 comes equipped with some serious features and is the shoulder camera variety with very good output. The image and video quality along with the capacity of the camera continues to be impressive and it is no surprise that it is owned by most media photographers.

The sheer size of the Panasonic NV MD10000 is daunting for people and do try and do a test run by carrying the camera around with you for some time. Though there are some other models which also meet the same specification as the Panasonic NV MD10000 but it makes very little sense to spend more money when you can get everything you want in the NV MD 10000.

It is a good idea to warn amateur photographers (who plan to remain amateurs) to stay away from the Panasonic heavyweight as it is likely to make matters more complicated. Simply put, the Panasonic is a good buy provided you need this Mini DV and its feature list is not short of features by any standards. Though Panasonic may not be a camera of primary choice for many users, the NV MD10000 is all set to change the mindset.
