Nothing is going to stop me from buying the Panasonic Viera

Strengths: Excellent price+size combination, good picture quality and simple, neat lines

Weaknesses: No advanced features and sports only an analog unit

Just when I had given up my quest for a good flat screen television which would fit into my budget as well as the large size wall of my living room, I stumbled on the Viera from Panasonic and am glad that I did. The 42 inch plasma television impressed me right away with its simple lines which might look simple to a few people but is a boon as it fits in well with almost all sorts of décor.

However, what impressed me even more was the picture quality which was equipped with some really neat technology and that sets the Panasonic Viera apart. Though the television offers limited advanced features and comes equipped only with an analog tuner, it still gets your attention thanks to the wonderful blacks it displays and the overall sharpness of the pictures.

The Viera TH 42PV60A's price tag makes it more affordable as well so if you don’t have a major hang up about brands (Panasonic too is also an excellent brand just by the way) such as Sony then the Viera is the perfect home entertainment solution. The limited functionality might be an issue with some users but for me (and I am sure there are many like me), it was the perfect television to bring home!
