Strengths: Nice flashy design, good user friendly software and short cuts

Weaknesses: Battery life is not as per expectation, phone gets dirty very fast

I really liked the sleek black flip style phone design of the LG KG 810 which is what got me interested in this in the first place. On the features front, I was not very disappointed since the Chocolate (as the LG KG810 is also known as) is a sweet phone with enough features to make it one of the best known phones for the year. The LG KG810 comes in the traditional clamshell design with easy to reach buttons which get the work done.

For those of you looking for a bit of style on the phone front, the LG KG810 does manage to deliver an interesting phone with loads of ring tones, nice colored screen and a flip function which is quite sturdy and not very easy to break. The KG810 is also very shiny but that has a downside as it attracts too many finger prints which takes away all the smartness of the phone…however much you may try to shine it up on the sleeve!

The LG KG810 comes with some inherent problems which are not apparent first but you get to know as you use the phone over a period of time and the most apparent one of them is the average battery life. What is even more surprising (and you are not going to understand this if you don’t use the alarm function) is the missing snooze function…I looked for it hard….but when I could not find it, I just switched back to the old alarm clock on my table. Small issues you might say, but when the mobile phone stays with me longer than my spouse, I should expect some perfection!
