Strengths: Very competitive price tag, exterior design is pleasant and 1080p offers good output

Weaknesses: Technical issues such as poor 100Hz implementation, interpolation issues and motion seems unnatural.

This is a really good wide screen television from Samsung as it offers a 1080p native panel which is quite advanced for the time being. The overall design of the Samsung LA46F81BDX is smooth and the border is small which lets you focus on the picture quality. In fact, it is the attractive exterior design which is likely to get most users interested in the television in the first place. Not suitable for bedrooms, the 46 inch is likely to be large enough for most medium sized living rooms.

Quality is an issue with the Samsung television and though that does not explain the really reasonable price tag, it does act as a dampener when trying to enjoy a good experience. The LA46F81BDX does not do justice to the 100Hz installation which makes the motion look quite unrealistic.
