Strengths: A lovely fragrance which appeals to both men and women. Reasonably priced and comes packaged in a well designed bottle.

Weaknesses: Too common and well known: another victim of success

Dune Pour Homme can easily become your second skin. The perfume is very natural and manages to exude a sense of peace and calm over the wearer. Even the name of the perfume, conjures up an image of dunes of sand which rise and fall with undulating regularity. If you think I am being very ‘poetic’ about a perfume, then you need to experience the fragrance yourself to understand what I mean!

To go back into the history of the perfume, Dune Pour Homme was borne after the successful launch of Dune for women and together, the two fragrances make an excellent fragrant offering. The packaging of the perfume is minimalist and this further adds an allure to the fragrance. Dune Pour Homme is such a likeable perfume that it can easily become your signature perfume and you might end up wearing it all day as well as in the evening. This is one of the major drawbacks of such a perfume.

Apart from that, Dune might also be a bit too common for people who like to smell exclusive (quite a lot like Davidoff Cool Water) and this is also a negative when it comes to this fragrance. If you are unsure of which perfume you should buy for yourself or as a gift for someone, then Dune Pour Homme is one of the safest choices in the men’s range and it is quite reasonably priced as well.
