The 50 inch Viera from Panasonic manages to impress the layperson quite well due to its size and impressive picture quality but does have some niggling issues which make it less than perfect. Your decision to buy the Viera 50PZ700A depends on your need and if you are able to live with the small viewing drawbacks, then it is an excellent television to install in your living room. Panasonic manages to give very good HD content which is a delight to watch.

The Viera faces tough competition from the likes of Panasonic and Sony but still manages to hold mostly due to price and its inherent strengths of good quality HD performance. I would have liked the Viera to have an anti-reflective coating but that is OK since I tend to pull the curtains when watching television. For some people the Viera might not fit even when it has the 100Hz programming built-in.

Connecting it to the computer also does not yield the results I want but then if you are not using this mode frequently; it should be not a big concern. The good part is that the television manages to offer a large picture at a fairly small price. The Viera is also impressive when hooked on to gaming devices making it a really fun experience. Last but not the least, the frame of the Panasonic Viera tends to get finger marks very easily and needs to be wiped frequently for it to look nice and stylish. Go ahead and buy the Viera is size is your first priority since it really is good on that front.
