Strengths: Anti-theft features, FM radio, reasonably priced

Weaknesses: Low memory capacity

The LG KG288 falls into the category of low-priced entry level phones which give users an opportunity to connect to users at a price which is affordable and quite easily one of the cheapest phones from LG. the KG288 also manages to look very smart and elegant since it has a sleek body and a lightweight exterior which works to the advantage of the user. The KG288 does offer limited entertainment options and for the price tag it sports, you are unlikely to expect more!

The FM Radio of the LG KG288 is quite good with a memory to support up to 12 stations but the overall memory of the phone is limited to a mere hundred messages only which does not do justice if you texting regularly. There is no way to increase the memory capacity of the KG288 either and that can be quite a let down feature. Still the LG team seems to be full of optimism as it has named the KG 288 BULLET!

There is still some steam left on the LG KG288 as it gives users an opportunity to use a phone which can be tracked if stolen. Though the feature is very ambitious, it does make me wonder as to why someone would want to steal such a basic phone! Anyways, for the faint at heart, the anti-theft feature does sound quite promising. Go ahead and buy the LG KG288 if you are looking for an entry level phone with a bit of pizzazz!
