Strengths: It looks like it used to.

Weaknesses: The fragrance is different. Not nice at all.

Yesterday I bought a three pack box of Pears soap. I do not use it regularly as it tends to dry my skin a little. I buy and use it when I need a "lift". The fragrance is (was) just delightful and I felt really special when using it.
On opening the packaging last night, the odour made me feel a little ill. It certainly was not the same fragrance I remembered from my childhood or the same fragrance I noted when I used my last bar a couple of months ago.
I noticed that it was made in India (I did not notice where it was made the last time I bought it) and the packaging was labelled differently. The ingredients, I think, have changed and there is now a definite "chemical/industrial odour".
I will ring the customer phone line which is written on the box and make an enquiry. I doubt that they will go back to the old method just for me. SUCH A SHAME.

i agree! it doesnt even feel the same on the skin - and its not a creamy soap anymore - it lathers terribly and not creamy at all :(
