Good performance ranks high with the Sony Ericsson W850i GSM mobile phone and like other mobile phones from the house of Sony Ericsson this one too has its share of takers and those who just do not like the phone one bit. We do an ‘unbiased’ review of the phone and find that like most digital products, this one too has some pros and cos.

The pros as mentioned earlier are that the W850i rates an eight on ten when it comes to overall performance which is actually on the lower side when considering the voice qualities. The camera obviously faces some flak from users for its output quality but then the USP of the phone has more to do with the music-handling ability rather than the camera. The user-friendliness of the phone is also a bit concerning since the navigation is not intuitive at all and needs a good deal of practice by a user to get comfortable with it.

The decently large screen works well with most users as it helps in both messaging as well as when clicking and viewing images but a small in-built memory leaves no room for storing many images and you might need to invest in another memory card. The performance of the phone is quite good so if the negative points of the phone (some users even consider the pricing to be a negative as it is on the higher side when compared to its competitors) do not bother you, then there is little reason to avoid the W850i.
