Strengths: Light, uniquely woody in a pearly finish virginal bottle

Weaknesses: Pinches the pocket and not suitable for those who want a flowery fragrance

One would expect a perfume with a name like ‘Pure Poison’ to be packaged in a dark foreboding bottle. Far from it! Pure Poison comes in a whitish bottle but still has a resemblance to the original Poison bottle. However, Pure Poison is a very feminine perfume with woody tones which is quite unique and this is a perfume which can be considered as a ‘natural’ smelling perfume.

Pure Poison is very well suited for women who do not like flowery fragrances which are quite sweet. The light natural fragrance leaves a soft lingering perfume which lasts for most of the day and is just perfect for day wear and specially office wear. Obviously there is a gap in the perfume market for such fragrances which are subtle and light.

Don’t mistake subtle as mild! Pure Poison has its own level of sex appeal which believes in the maxim that less is more. The perfume is light but does not disappear in a few hours and thus an expensive bottle of Pure Poison is likely to last you for quite some time. Last but not the least, the fact that Pure Poison is a very high quality product from the house of Christian Dior just adds a few notches to the glam quotient of the perfume!
